Product Description

The LRS Night Vision Monocular can be adapted to Canon SLR cameras by attaching the Canon LRS Photo Adaptor.  The adaptor attaches directly to the camera body using a standard Canon EF mount.  The other end attaches to the LRS Scout, Ranger, or Recon monocular.  If using the LRS 50mm lens, the focus and aperture settings are adjusted from the lens itself.  Using the LRS with a 35mm camera in this setup, eliminates the vignetting or “tunnel vision” effect often seen with other night vision and camera configurations.  The 50mm lens can also be replaced with a wide variety of Canon lenses by attaching a Canon C-Mount Lens Adaptor (sold separately).

*We recommend that you purchase your photo adaptor at the same time as the purchase of the LRS Monocular.  The adaptor is adjusted by the manufacturer so that it’s specifically matched to the optics of your LRS for maximum image clarity.  If the adaptor is purchased separately, it’s highly recommended that you ship the LRS unit to the manufacturer in order that the two components are paired for optimal performance.
