Placing An Order

Orders can be placed on our website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.


Methods of Payment

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card. We also accept purchase orders from government agencies, educational institutions and corporations. All purchase orders are subject to credit approval prior to sale completion. Please contact our sales team by email at customerservice@nightvisionops.com for all your purchase order inquiries.

Important Note for Debit Card Holders: Please note that at the time of an order we authorize the charge only and settle the transaction on the date of the actual shipment of the product(s). However, most issuing banks for debit cards put the entire amount on hold at the time that the card is authorized and the funds may not be available for other purchases. For further information and specific policies please contact your bank.


Order Verification/Fraud Protection

All orders placed through our company are subject to our verification process for order accuracy and authorized valid payment. For security reasons, we may contact you via email or phone to request additional information. In order to guard against fraudulent activity, Night Vision Ops must verify the bill to and ship to addresses. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and phone number (the address and phone number your credit card has on file). Incorrect information will cause a delay in the processing time.

If your shipping address is different than your billing address (where you receive your credit card statement), please call your credit card bank to make them aware of the shipping address. Informing your credit card bank about your shipping address will not change any existing billing information; it will be temporarily listed in the bank’s memo field for purchase verification only. Please recognize that calling your credit card bank about an address notification may not only be necessary, but it will also speed-up the verification process.


Order Confirmation

A confirmation displaying an order number will appear on the checkout page immediately after your order is submitted. If an order confirmation did not appear after the final submit button, we may have received your order, but communication from our server to your computer was interrupted. Please email us at customerservice@nightvisionops.com if you have any concern regarding your order having been received. Please recognize that your email may have a filter that prevents our email confirmation from getting through to you. Please check your Junk Mail folder and/or turn off your Spam Filter to allow email from customerservice@nightvisionops.com. We will never share your email address with unrelated 3rd party except as necessary to fulfill transactions that you initiate.


Order Processing Time

We strive to dispatch all orders within 24 to 48 business hours. In the unlikely event that the item is not available for an immediate shipment, we will notify you within 2 business days with an option to wait for a back order or to cancel the transaction. If using our complimentary UPS Ground shipping (sometimes FedEx or USPS, depending on the manufacturer), the estimated time of time of arrival of your order after dispatching is 3-5 days. Expedited or next-day air shipping options are discussed below under Shipping Options and they incur an extra charge.

We make every effort to use every good measure to deliver your order on time. Night Vision Ops will not be responsible for any delay of the shipment during transit for reasons including but not limited to: negligence by the shipping carrier, employee, strikes and weather.


Order Acceptance and Limitations

Any order confirmation provided to you by us does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of an offer to sell. We reserve the right to decline and cancel an order, or supply less than quantity ordered at any time.


Order Status

You may check the status of your order on our website at any time by contacting our Customer Services for order status information at customerservice@nightvisionops.com. After completing checkout you will receive an email from us that confirms the successful placement of your order and provides shipping details.


Order Change/Cancellation

You may request an order change or cancellation by email as long as it has not already been processed for shipping. Since the majority of orders are usually processed within 24-48 hours, we monitor our email hourly to identify change or cancellation requests just prior to shipping.

If your order was shipped before you requested a cancellation or any changes could be made, you can refuse delivery and we will refund you for the entire purchase less our shipping and processing cost. We are unable to reinstate an order once it has been cancelled. You may, however, place a new order subject to our current availability and pricing.



Price Protection Prices are subject to change at any time without notice based on a combination of factors that are generally out of our control. They are usually dictated by market and availability conditions and/or by the manufacturers themselves; and are often as likely to increase as they are to decrease prices. Once you have completed your purchase, the price you pay remains unchanged regardless of whether the price on our site has since increased or decreased. Please rest assured that we are offering you, our valued customers, the best possible price we can based on our real-time cost for the merchandise at that time.

Pricing errors (despite our best efforts to advertise prices appropriately) of some items may be advertised incorrectly due to a typographical error. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for an item that was priced incorrectly, regardless of the fact that it has been confirmed and charged.



We will make every effort to notify you about any additional savings that may be available through manufacturer rebates (usually listed on product page of relevant product). Please recognize that manufacturer rebates are under the control of the manufacturer and not Night Vision Ops.


Back Orders

If an item in your order is not in stock, we will not hold the rest of your order until the item is available (except for orders being shipped outside the U.S., or orders being shipped via USPS). We will ship the available items and back order the item that is not in stock, provided that the available item on your order is not an accessory to the back ordered item or total purchase price does not exceed $50.

We do not bill your credit card for an item that is not in stock. Occasionally, an item is found to be out of stock after the order has been processed due to an inventory discrepancy. We will credit your account for the value of that item if it is not expected shortly. If the back ordered item becomes unavailable to us we will notify you via email and issue a full credit if your card has already been charged. In most circumstances, we will ship the back order shortly after it was ordered, unless you are notified otherwise. You may always cancel a back order for a full credit by contacting our Customer Service Department.



Sales tax is only added if you are located in the State of Utah where our central offices are located or for sales which are drop shipped to addresses within California, if the shipment originates from the California warehouse. International shipments are generally subject to local import duties and taxes. We are not responsible for, nor can offer any specific advice regarding any customs related fees that you may incur. For specific information, please consult with your local government import office.


Returning Purchases of Night Optics USA Products

Your satisfaction with our products and service is of greatest importance to us. If you are not pleased with your purchase, please return it in new condition within 30 calendar days (after you have received the product) for a no-hassle, no-fault refund (minus shipping charges) or exchange.

A 10% restocking fee is applied to help cover our return processing, credit card fees, packing, shipping and other restocking expenses (unless an error has been made by us). We do not charge a restocking fee in the event an exchange is made for another product of equivalent value.

Important: Returned merchandise MUST have a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please email the manufacturer at support@nightoptics.com or call them at 1-(800) 30-NIGHT and they will be happy to provide one. Returns are processed within 5 days of their receipt and refunds are credited or mailed within 5 to 10 days of processing.

  • All returns must include original factory box, original factory packaging (foam, plastic, wrappings, etc.), blank unfilled warranty cards, all instruction booklets and paperwork. Do not deface original factory cartons or packaging in any manner. We will not accept a return if packaging is not in its original condition.
  • All returned merchandise must be in its original mint and clean condition. Returns on damaged or scratched merchandise will not be accepted.
  • All returns must include all the factory accessories which come with the item. For example, the night vision unit must be returned with its original battery, straps, etc. No returns will be accepted if any of these packed accessories are missing.
  • All returns must be authorized by Night Optics USA. Email them for the RMA authorization number prior to shipping any merchandise back. Enclose the original receipt or a copy of it with your return. Also enclose a brief letter of explanation of returned and state your request for either a refund or an exchange.
  • Refunds are applied to the original payment method used at the time of purchase within 5-10 days after receipt of the returned merchandise. We will only refund the value of the merchandise returned, not the shipping charge.


*All returnable items found to be defective within 15 calendar days of delivery may be returned to Night Optics USA for replacement. A RMA number must be requested and is required. The item must be returned in “like new” condition as stated above. They will replace the defective item with the same new model free of charge. Refund requests will be subject the same restocking fees as stated above. Restocking fees do not apply to defective merchandise that is being replaced.


Returning Purchases of “LRS” Monoculars or Accessories Manufactured by N-Vision Optics

Products listed as “LRS Scout”, “LRS Ranger”, “LRS Recon”, or any of their camera adaptors or accessories are manufactured by N-Vision Optics. As their return and exchange policies differ slightly from the rest of our inventory, please see below for details:

You must contact N-Vision Optics, LLC for a return authorization number. Without this number, returned merchandise will not be accepted. This number must appear on the outside of the returned box. Be sure to enclose a copy of your original invoice with your returned merchandise. All items returned for exchange or refund must be new and unused and must include the original packaging, manual and all accessories.

Shipping & handling, and COD charges are non-refundable. Return shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer. No returned parcels will be accepted freight collect or COD. N-Vision Optics, LLC is not responsible for returned merchandise that is damaged in shipping or otherwise in poor condition.

Refunds or credits will be adjusted accordingly in the event items are missing or damaged. Special orders, close-outs and products sold “as is” cannot be returned. Returned items which have been damaged as a result of inadequate packaging, neglect, (i.e. burned intensifier tubes, cracked housing, cracked optics, stripped thumb screws, etc.) will be returned to the customer.

Please note that a 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returned merchandise.

N-Vision Optics, LLC, Inc. reserves the right to refuse the merchandise or re-ship the merchandise to the customer under the following conditions:

  1. The return authorization number was not visible on the outside of the box.
  2. The merchandise was incomplete, damaged, used or scratched.
  3. The original invoice was not included.
  4. The merchandise was ordered by credit card and order was canceled after the credit card was processed.
  5. The merchandise was ordered but delivery was refused by or for the customer.

Returning Purchases of Therm-App Thermal Cameras or Accessories Manufactured by Opgal

Opgal is based in Israel and we import all of our units directly from their company. Because of international shipping laws and the challenging procedure for returning used items back to Opgal, our return policy is not the same as for other products we sell. We must retain 15% as a restocking fee to cover the additional costs because we can’t simply return the unit to Israel. If the box has been opened, we have to sell it as an open-box at a discounted price.  Opgal products have a 30-day return period, but the camera or accessory must be in new condition as well as the packaging box and materials that come with it.


Damaged Items Manufactured by Night Optics USA

All packages are inspected for damage before they ship from the warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact Night Optics USA immediately at support@nightoptics.com or call them at 1-(800) 30-NIGHT. They must be informed of all shipping related claims within 1 business day after the date of receipt. They do not issue refunds for returns of damaged merchandise. An item that was discovered damaged upon receipt will be replaced with the same model only.


Damaged Items Manufactured by N-Vision Optics

Products listed as “LRS Scout”, “LRS Ranger”, “LRS Recon”, or any of their camera adaptors or accessories are manufactured by N-Vision Optics. As their damaged item policy differs slightly from the rest of our inventory, please see below for details:

Products purchased from N-Vision Optics, LLC are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 (one) years from the date of purchase. In the event a defect that is covered by this warranty occurs during the period stated above, N-Vision Optics, LLC, at its discretion, will either repair or replace the product, and such action on the part of N-Vision Optics, LLC shall be the full extent of the company’s liability, and the Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy. This warranty does not cover products that:

  1. were used in other than its normal and customary manner;
  2. were misused;
  3. were altered, modified or repaired by the Customer or by any party other than N-Vision Optics, LLC, without prior written consent of N-Vision Optics, LLC;
  4. were discontinued by the manufacturer and either parts or replacement units are not available due to reasons beyond the control of N-Vision Optics LLC.

N-Vision Optics, LLC shall not be responsible for any defects or damage that in the company’s opinion resulted from the mishandling, abuse, misuse, improper storage or improper operation, including use in conjunction with equipment which is electrically or mechanically incompatible with or of inferior quality to the product, as well as failure to maintain the environmental conditions specified by the manufacturer.


This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. Any breach of this warranty shall be waived unless the customer notifies N-Vision Optics, LLC at the contact noted below within the applicable warranty period. The customer understands and agrees that except for this warranty, no other warranties written or oral, statutory, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply to the product. All such implied warranties are hereby and expressly disclaimed.

Damaged Items Manufactured by Opgal (Therm-App products)

Products listed as “Therm-App” or any of their lenses or accessories are manufactured by Opgal, based in Israel.  Opgal carries a one year Warranty Period on their products which begins from the date of purchase.  They will repair or replace defective products within that time period.  If those remedies are insufficient, they will refund your paid purchase price.  In order to make the warranty effective, you must contact us here at Night Vision Ops immediately (no later than 60 days) after discovering the product defect.  We will then direct you on how to return the time to Opgal.  For complete details on Opal’s Limited Warranty and product safety information, please visit their website at www.therm-app.com.  For other technical questions and troubleshooting, please contact them at the following address and email.

Return Shipping

Return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to us) is like or comparable to your cost of driving to any store for returning an item, which is not reimbursable. Therefore, we do not reimburse any return shipping cost. Because of the value of most of our products, we request you do return the product in its original packaging and with a reasonable carrier. If an item you received is defective, we will certainly replace the item with a new one. However, we do not cover or reimburse the shipping cost for returning defective merchandise back to us. We will ship the replacement product to you at our cost, and use every good measure to ensure that the replacement order is processed quickly.


Return Exception

Although we have a very flexible return policy on most of the items we sell, there are some exceptions. The following items may not be returned and in case they are found to be defective they have to be exchanged via manufacturer’s warranty policy:

  • Rifle scopes that have been mounted and/or assembled to a firearm;
  • Items that have been removed from blister packaging and can no longer be resold as new; and
  • Special Order Items (you will be informed if the item is special order and exception to return policy prior to us shipping the product).


Shipping Options and Destinations

Shipping Options

We provide complimentary UPS ground shipping (sometimes FedEx or USPS, depending on the manufacturer) to the lower 48 states as well as to military destinations for all orders where final checkout amount is $32.95 or more. For Alaska and Hawaii, we also offer complimentary shipping under the same conditions, however we use USPS Priority Service, which also has an average time of delivery of 3-5 days after dispatching the order.

If you would like the option of expedited or UPS Next Day Air shipping arrangements, please contact us at the time of purchase to ensure the products availability and to arrange for the additional shipping charges.


International Orders Shipping and Processing

  • Due to our agreement with some vendors we are restricted in dispatching their products outside U.S.
  • Due to certain restrictions and guidelines of U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. Department of State not all rifle scopes and night vision devices can be exported worldwide.
  • Please contact us via email at info@nightvisionops.com with the item(s) you are interested in purchasing and final delivery destination for further information.
  • The minimum order amount for international orders is $300 before shipping charges.




Credit card security is one of our top priorities at Night Vision Ops, and that is why we guarantee 100% secure ordering for all of our guests. To protect you and your credit card information, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. SSL sends your credit card number to our computer in an encrypted code, which only we can decode. In the unlikely event of credit card fraud, we guarantee your protection against any fraudulent charges.

In addition, you are protected by the Fair Credit Billing Act, which prohibits your bank from holding you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable, Night Vision Ops, will cover the liability for you, up to the full $50. Night Vision Ops, will cover this liability only if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted (through no fault of your own) from purchases made at Night Vision Ops, while using our secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, please notify your credit card provider immediately in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
